Ultimate Fighter: Season 4: The Comeback

Continuing on with my "where are they now?" series, I watched season 4 a week ago and am now ready to write a little about it.

Season 4 was the first without coaches, as the fighters were all veterens with previous UFC appearances. There were welterweights and middleweights on the show and the winners got title shots.

Welterweights

Team No-Love

Rich Clementi
The origin for the team name is with Rich, as his nick name is "No Love," but it didn't help him very much as he lost his fight. He is 5-5 in his UFC career and currently fights in the lightweight division. He had the worst facial hair of any member of the Ultimate Fighter on any season. He was recently released from his UFC deal.

Mikey Burnett
Mikey, I believe, is legally retarded. He is a really nice guy though. Not much a fighter any more. He got dominated in his fight on the show, then broke his neck running into a wall. He sued the show for damages. My verdict: kill yourself.

Jeremy Jackson
Jackson was the fighter (like there is one every season) who got booted the fuck off the show. Hr picked up a lifegaurd at a pool and then (I would assume) fucked the shit out of her after hopping the fence. Well done sir. I hope that was some really good pussy. Although he did come back into the UFC at the finale, losing in convincing fashion.

Pete Spratt
Pete lost twice o the show, the second time in place of Jeremy Jackson. He is 3-4 in the UFC, and is probably done fighting with the best in the world.

Team MOJO

Shonie Carter
"Mr. International" was pretty awesome on the show. By awesome, I mean ridiculous. He badazzled hats, painted pretty much everything in the house, made a raft out of water bottles, and wore a speedo or a suit at all times. All in all, pretty awesome. He won his first fight, but lost to Matt Serra in the most anticipated fight of the season. He is 3-3 in his very long UFC career (his first fight was in 2000).

Chris Lytle
Lytle was very soft spoken onthe show, and sometimes I forget he was on the season. He made it to finals, where he ultmately lost to Matt Serra. He is 5-9 in his UFC career, but his last 3 losses have won fight of the night. He is a very exciting fighter.

Matt Serra
Serra became the coach for his team, and has very outspoken with one of the trainers and with Matt Hughes, who he still currently feuds with. Serra won the season, then won his title shot. Then he lost it, convincingly, back to GSP. He will be fighting Hughes soon to try and settle their disputes. He is 6-5 in the UFC.

Din Thomas
Thomas lost to Lytle in a great semi final fight, and sominated Burnett in his opening fight. He is 5-4 in the UFC. He dropped to 155 lbs after the show and has since dropped to 145 lbs, a division the UFC currently does not have.

Middleweights

Team No Love

Travis Lutter
Lutter was the middleweight winner and, according to his nick name, a serial killer. He should probably be arrested if that is the case. He is 2-4 in the UFC and a very boring fighter. Next.

Charles McCarthy
He is 1-2 in the UFC and a miserable fucker. He can be seen on highlight reels under "most brutal sinning back kicks."

Gideon Ray
0-3 in the UFC and currently getting out-classed in the IFL. He now fights at welterweight. Not much else to say.

Jorge Rivera
His UFC is 4-5, but is nothing more than roster filler and a bottom rung fighter. This seaon, in hindsight, was full of mediocre fighters, except for Serra, Lytle, and Cote.

Team MOJO

Pete Sell
Drago was a favourite of mine on the show, and was in one of my favourite fights of all time, where he lost to Scott Smith. He is 3-5 in the UFC. Solid fighter.

Scott Smith
Currently fighting outside the UFC in other big promotions, Scott has been pretty successfull, earning 2 title shots in EliteXC. He is 1-3 in the UFC and I hope he is back some day soon.

Patrick Cote
My pick to win the whole thing (only because he is Canadian), but he lost in the finals. He did earn a title shot the old fashioned way though and gave Anderson Silva all he could handle, losing via ref stoppage after suffering an injury. He is 5-5 in the UFC, and should be back to his winning ways when he gets healthy.

Edwin DeWees
He is 0-3 in the UFC, and may never be back due to poor performance in other promotions. Enough said.

Well, that was the season. Probably my least favourite season of them all so far.
