This team is full of really solid prospects, including the '07 draft class of Jackson, Ahrens, and Tolisano.
The Good:
Eric Thames. .319/.396/.467/.863. Thames is becoming one of my favourite prospects, and with good reason. His power is still coming along, so there could still be more improvement.
Darin Mastroianni: .318/.422/.381/.803. He has 31 stolen bases and has been an amazing lead off hitter. Another prospect I am starting to get excited about.
Moises Sierra: .303/.388/.441/.829. Sierra was an international free agent and is starting to become a legit prospect.
There is not alot of power on this team, with Jesus Gonzalez leading the team with 6 HR.
The Offensive Prospects:
John Tolisano: .247/.322/.401/.723 with 5 HR. Has also struggled mightily defensively, leading to speculation that he will end up in LF.
Kevin Ahrens: .222/.286/.303/.588. Terrible. He is still really young, but eventually he has to start hitting. I could probably put up a better line at that level.
Justin Jackson: .242/.355/.309/.664 with 11 SB. Jackson has developed a great eye it seems. If he can just start maximizing his hits with some more doubles to increase his slugging percentage.
Adam Loewen: .213/.309/.291/.599. Eventually, Loewen should start hitting with power. He just needs a full season to adjust to playing the field every day.
The Pitching:
The Good:
Kenny Rodriguez: 1.86 ERA in 10 games -9 starts- (48.1 IP) , with a 1.14 WHIP.
Tim Collins: 2.97 ERA in 21 games (36.1 IP), with a 1.10 WHIP and 54 Ks.
Trystan Magnuson: 3.31 ERA in 21 games (35.1 IP), with a 1.39 WHIP.
Robert Bell: 3.18 ERA in 24 games (28.1 IP), with a .95 WHIP.
Dumas Garcia: 2.18 ERA in 16 games -1 start- (20.2 IP), with a .92 WHIP.
Leon Boyd: 1.54 ERA in 8 games (11.2 IP), with a 1.63 WHIP for "Dutch Clutch."
Zach Dials: 1.64 ERA in 9 games (11 IP), with a .91 WHIP and 4 saves.
The Mediocre/Disappointing:
Andrew Liebel: 4.63 ERA in 13 starts (72 IP) with a 1-8 record. His peripherals are pretty good.
Alan Farina: 11.17 ERA in 4 games -2 starts- in 9.2 IP before his injury. I don't know why he was starting, as he a solid relief prospect.
