So, as I anticipate the UFC video game that is coming out, I have decided to go back and watch every episode of the Ultimate Fighter ever.
I am going to take a look at where each guy is now, as it seems everyone has been highly successful.
The first season was Light Heavyweights and Middleweights and coached by Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture. Dana White makes some appearances and Willa Ford's tits do some hosting.
Light Heavyweights
Bobby Southworth
After being the token black guy on the show, he went on to lose on the Ultimate Finale to Sam Hogar. He beat Sincaid, but get eliminated by Stephan Bonnar. Bobby has gone on to win the Strikeforce Light Heavyweight title, and after defending it successfully, lost to Babalu recently.
Sam Hogar
Sam was kind of a bitch on the show, being a cunt to his team. He was also treated like a cock sucker before he even did anything, so he was fucke from the onset. Sam has won 2 of 5 UFC fights since the show ended, including undefeated Lyoto Machida and current Light Heavyweight champ Rashad Evans. Sam was awarded a medal of bravery for saving a teammate, so at least he has something going for him.
Forrest Griffin
What can I say about Griffin that hasn' allready been said about Jesus Christ? I kid, but Griffin won the show and my heart with his style of fighting that can be described as arratic. Easily my favourite UFC fighter, Griffin has gone on to have some huge fights in the UFC. With 10 fights in the UFC, including 7 wins and a UFC Light Heavyweight title reign, Griffin is in the top teir of fighters in his division. Griffin has been given "Fight of the Year" honors on three occasions (vs Bonnar, vs Rampage, vs Ortiz).
Alex Schoenauer
Schoenauer has been an IFL regular since his Ultimate Fighter run (and losing the Mike Swick in 21 seconds on the Ultimate Finale). He is 8-8 since leaving, so I see no UFC future for the unimpressive clown.
Stephan Bonnar
After an epic battle in the finals with Griffin, UFC was not only getting bigger, but so was Bonnar. And by that, I mean he started juiced up. He tested positive for horse roids after a fight and hasn't been the same since. He is 5-3 since his debut loss.
Mike Swick
Swick has dropped 2 weight classes since the show ended, and now is a Welterweight. Swick is 8-1 in the UFC, with some impressive knockout earning the nick name "Quick."
Lodune Sincaid
After losing to Quarry on the Ultimate Finale, Sincaid won the WEC Light Heavyweight title, only embarassingly lose it and go on a quality streak of bad showings.
Jason Thacker
Thacker was the Canadian on the show, and was also a little bitch. He threatened to quit a couple times and got pwned in practice and in his fight.
Middleweights
Diego Sanchez
"The Nightmare" win the show and has since dropped 2 weight classes and plans on terrorizing the lightweights. Is 9-2 in the UFC and is going to be a force and will most likely be a top contender for a long time.
Josh Koscheck
Koscheck was dropped to Welterweight and is very impressive in his development, going from a wrestler with no stand-up to a very well-rounded fighter. His most recent fight was a disappointing loss to a relative unknown. Has 14 UFC fights, and is 10-4 in those fights.
Kenny Florian
Has dropped to 155 and is the top contender for the Lightweight title. He has already had a shot at the title. Florian is 10-2 in the UFC.
Josh Rafferty
"Boy Band" was pretty aweful during his tenure, but at least looked better than Sanford.
Nate Quarry
Nate was the leader of his team while on the show, serving as a assistant coach after being forced to withdraw from the competition. He was a Jehovah's Witness as well, which isn't relevant at all. He is 6-2 in the UFC, including a loss for the Middleweight title.
Chris Leben
Leben is the original Bad Boy of the show. He is also the first guy to lose twice on the show. Leben has re-invented himself as a spiritual man with a new found drive. Leben is 8-4 in the UFC, but more importantly, his most recent loss was incredible showing against a tope Middleweight contender, Mike Bisping. He also tested positive for steroids after the fight, earning a 9 month suspension.
Alex Karalexis
The Mass-Hole has gone on to be very unimpressive since his run on the show. Next.
Chris Sanford
Sanford was the fattest fighter on the show, and easily the least impressive in his weight class. Enough said.
Season 2 is coming up soon. Love it.
Oh, and Ricky Romero is fucking nails. PLAYOFFS!!!!
